i’m ivan gilkes ~ a floral designer, creative director, and founder of floralstud.io.

after five years designing weddings, brand activations, and intimate events across new york city, i launched floralstud.io in 2025 to bring a more personal, story-driven approach to floral design. my work blends sculptural instincts with emotional intention. i care as much about how flowers make you feel as I do about how they look.

every arrangement is crafted to reflect the energy of a space, the mood of a moment, and the meaning behind the gathering. whether i’m designing a spring wedding in a historic brooklyn loft, an atmospheric dinner party for a client, or a sculptural tablescape for a creative studio launch, i approach each project with thoughtfulness, curiosity, and care.

i live in williamsburg, brooklyn, i’m engaged to my wonderful fiancé, and i’ve called nyc home for 20 years. i believe flowers are memory keepers — and i’d love to help you tell your story through them.
